A fiver on Jack - Monday 11th - 2005 The Royal Bank of Scotland will be introducing into circulation two million 5-pound sterling notes in Scotland during the Open at St. Andrews - with Jack's picture on them!

Nicklaus will be the only living person to appear on a Scottish note besides Her Majesty the Queen and the late Queen Mother.

 Jack Nicklaus may not play much golf nowadays.

Nicklaus was making the briefest of visits (he was back having dinner in America last night) in an ambassadorial role for the Royal Bank of Scotland, so it was appropriate enough to find him autographing some of those RBS five pound notes with his head on it which the bank had specially printed to commemorate his farewell Open appearance at St Andrews in 2005.
