I don't profess to be an expert on vintage costume jewellery but I have been fascinated with it since childhood and always try to give an honest description.  I have been selling vintage costume jewellery for the past 24 years and actually taught jewellery making and bead craft with teenage girls for about three years.  I am always happy to answer any questions to the best of my ability.  Jewellery is meant to be fun.  Enjoy!!!
Cornflower is the birthday flower for the month of September.  This is a large cornflower brooch in beautiful colours and signed 'EXQUISITE' on the back set in a pale gold colour metal which is in excellent condition.  The enamelling is in good condition with deep colours and just the usual nibbles visible under a glass and a nick on a leaf.  I'm setting the start price accordingly.  This is in good wearable condition.
Approximate measurements are 2.75" by 2.5" at the longest and widest points.

I have not cleaned this as many people have requested their vintage jewellery be in it's original condition.   Vintage jewellery will always show signs of wear.  It is sold as seen.
