Beautiful Signed Charlotte Rhead Crown Ducal Vase

in 'Byzantine' Pattern

This is a rare shaped, wonderful Crown Ducal Vase in the Byzantine pattern, designed by Charlotte Rhead with tube-lined decoration. 

The base shows;

The Crown Ducal stamp (AGR9 1932-1935)

Incised lettering - 165 (shape number)

Tube Lined signature - CRhead A (Adams)

Printed lettering - 2681 (pattern number)

The vase is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or restoration. The colours are still vibrant, and this is an extremely good example of the art of tube-lined decoration. 

This vase will be extremely well packed (double bubble wrapped and boxed). I will post 1st Class Recorded Delivery at a cost of £7.95. However, I am happy to send it Royal Mail Special Delivery on winning bidders request, at a cost of £9.95. Overseas bidders, please e-mail me for P&P costs. I will invoice accordingly at the end of the auction.
