Super Multi Coated Glass Filters

SIGMA 95mm UV Mult-Coated Optical Lens Filter.

Ultra Violet General lens protection filter that removes unwanted Ultra Violet light from images. Helps cut through Haze in landscapes especially snow, sea and mountain scenes.

UV Filters can be left on permanently to protect the delicate coating on the front of your valuable lenses, from scratches and knocks.

Flat surface of the filter is much easier and tougher to clean than the front element of your lens.

Filter thread is duplicated on the front of the filter, so other filters and cap can be added.

Both sides of these high quality glass filters are Multi-Coated for optimum light transmission and flair reduction.

Filters are Slim Line so that they can be used on Wide Angle Lenses without Vignetting (cutting the corners off!).

Sigma filters are not cheap! They are made to the very highest standards, equal to, if not better than Hoya SMC filters. They are as good as the lens you are using - A lens is a good as the poorest glass between your subject and the film.

This new DG version significantly helps reduce the ghosting caused by some CCD's in Digital SLR's.

Sigma are no longer refering to their Super Multicoated filters as 'EX Filters'. They work just as well on lenses that are not EX lenses as well as those that are. They can be used on film, digital and video lenses - subject to size.
