4 Stars - Excellent - ..The visceral thrash of Washington D.C.'s Shudder To Think is not only mellow, but tempered with a rapturous pop sensibility with soaring choruses, frissons of soft metal, jazz-funky tempo changes and Craig Wedren's semi-operatic vocal..Option (Sept.-Oct./92, p.128) - ..Pop harmonies with controlled falsettos and blissful croons that Brian Wilson would salute, but delivered with an anarchist's smirk and situated above the dissonance and heaviness..Musician (9/92, p.106) - ..verges on art-rock. Except that art-rock never kicked this hard..
