Brand New Shimano C201 8 Speed rear mech. Will work with 6 and 7 speed systems as well. The derailleur is compatable with megarange rear gear blocks and has a reverse spring action meaning the spring naturally pulls the derailleur to the 1st gear sprocket on the rear gear block as oposed to gear 7 or 8 (the way in which the majority of derailleurs work).

Product Description

Featuring cutting edge Rapid-Rise Design, this derailleur has a reverse action coil spring that allows the derailleur to down-shift with cable release. This not only reduces shifting effort, it also allows the right and left lever sets to operate the same way, reducing shift confusion. Specially designed extension spring and low-friction linkage result in a light action regardless of gear position. Equipped with oversize13-tooth tension and 11-tooth guide pulleys to run smoother, make less noise, reduce pulley cage length, and wear longer. Unique Wheel-Type Cable Guide reduces cable friction by approximately 20% for lighter, smoother shifting. Max. Sprocket 34T Min. Sprocket 11T F/Difference 20T max. Total Capacity 43T 350g.
