Shimano's Flagship model beach casting rod with no expense spared. Created from XT300 low resin content carbon, this featherweight powerhouse is the ultimate long-range fishing tool. Weighing in at a mere 500g and featuring an action suited to the majority of long-range casters, the rod is equally at home firing out large single hookbaits or multiple offerings to extreme distances. And once they get there the fine tip will show up even the smallest of bites. Developed in conjunction with top UK surfcasters, including multiple UK and world distance casting record holder Peter Thain, the lack of weight belies the immense reserves of power within the blank.

This extremely powerful but light two-piece rod is a tool suited to the more experienced surf caster. Perfectly suited to a style that uses a slow build up with a fast hit at the end, this rod will easily cast weights to 225g. The sensitive tip features reflection tape for excellent visibility - even in low light conditions such as night fishing sessions. The reel can be easily and securely mounted using Shimano's new sliding reel seat and, as you would expect, the guides are high quality Fuji SIC's for optimum performance.
