Where does the inch loss come from?
Toxins are held between and around our fat cells, which build up over many years from daily pollution and lifestyle. People who smoke, drink alcohol, eat fatty foods and have a high caffeine intake will, on the whole, have more toxins. The detox wrap draws these toxins out leaving space around the fat cells, whilst the bandages gently compress and contour your body, resulting in inch loss.

How are the toxins removed?
The detox wrap acts just like a giant poultice on the body entering through your pores to reach the toxins held beneath the skin. Many toxins come back through and are soaked up by the bandages, the others are flushed out of your system by drinking the recommended amount of water.
NOTE: The clay is highly concentrated. The inch loss continues for the next few days and the solution does not need to be washed off.

Will the toxins come back?
No, those toxins are gone for good. You will of course build up new ones over time, the amount of which will depend on your lifestyle.

How long will the inch loss last?
Provided you do not put any weight on, the inch loss should stay off indefinitely.

How much clay should I use?
Use one sachet of clay for two bandages.

How much water should I use to soak the bandages?
When you soak the bandages, use enough water to cover the bandages in your chosen container.

Do I need to unroll the bandages for soaking?
No. The bandages can remain rolled up for soaking but do remember to remove the outer wrapping and the clips.

Do I need to open the sachet of clay?
Yes, open the sachet and put the contents into your chosen container.

Do I need to stir in the clay?
Yes, but be careful, as the water will be hot. Use a spoon.

How long do I leave the bandages to soak?
Leave the bandages for 30 minutes.

How do I remove the excess water from the bandages once I’ve removed them from the bowl?
Gently squeeze out the bandages and remove excess water so that the bandage is not dripping water.

What temperature should the bandages be when I apply them?
The bandages should be warm to the touch and comfortable against your skin. Be careful when removing the bandages from the water as the bandages do retain a lot of heat. If necessary add either hot or cold water to achieve the correct temperature.

How tight should the bandages be when I wrap myself?
They should be firm against the skin but not too tight so that your circulation is restricted.

Why do I need to apply cling film?
It is important that your body is kept warm during the wrap process. Cling film helps keep you warm and also holds the bandages in place. Please remember to puncture the cling film as it important that your skin breathes.

Can you be wrapped whilst having a period?
Yes, but be aware that if your abdomen measurements do not go down as much as you had hoped this will be because you are swollen. However when your period has finished the true inch loss will be apparent.

Are there any medical conditions, which would stop you from having a wrap?
If you are pregnant/breast feeding.
People who suffer from emphysema or phlebitis.
If in doubt about any medical condition, please consult your doctor before use.

How many times can I wrap the same area?
We would recommend that you only wrap one specific area once in 7 days. There is no reason that the same area cannot be wrapped again after that time until all the toxins are removed.
