These Wheels are Awsome!

The are Discovery Alloys, Powder Coated Black with bare alloy rims

Tyres are BF Goodrich All Terrains 265/75/16

These look so good on any Land Rover/Range Rover. People comment on them all of time saying how awsome they make the vehicle look. Landy nuts have gone mad over them before and tried to buy them off me at shows. I never wanted to sell them but now travel plans are forcing me to sell pretty much everything.

I bought the set of five alloys in a scabby hideous silver state, had them shot blasted then powder coated black. I then built a lathe to take them, out of a land rover axle and a lister diesel engine (yes i am mental) and spun them up one at a time while I held a tool to the rims to get back to bare alloy, then various grades of wet and dry, scotch bright and autosol. 3 days later I emerged from my shed, tired, hungry and covered in black stuff with 4 out of the 5 finished (5th one is still all black). I then bought a set of 4 brand new tyres and fitted them. These wheels are unique. Never have I seen any wheels that have had so much time and effort put into them. Two year on, the powder coating is still in excellent condition (I keep the wheels covered in WD40 throught the winter months). The rims could do with a wipe with Autosol to get the best shine from them. The tyres have tons of tread having only covered 6000 miles (that means they still have 50,000 left in them!!!). The tyres could use some back to black as they are a bit dirty (they are tyres after all!). There are a few 'old' curb marks from when the wheels had little discover tyres on them in their previous life. These have either been powder coated over or pollished out for the most part, although some are still visable ( I can photograph real close if anyone wants me to?) The white writing is one the outside of the tyres and really stands out when the tyres are clean.

  • Set of 4 wheels and Tyres
  • Alloy number 5 comes with the set but is still all in black (no pollished rim)
  • 4 BF Goodrich All Terrains. 265/75/16.  (BIG...... common larger size on defenders, 2-3" lift kit needed for Range Rovers and Dicoverys)
  • Loads of life in the tyres (only 10% worn)
  • Shot Blasted, Powder Coated Semi Gloss Black, then the Rims were Hand Pollished by me!

I did a 3 inch suspension lift on the Black Vouge in the photos and the tyres fitted fine and looked awsome, It sits so well and looks like it was designed for that size tyre (see the photos).

They need to be picked up from Rugby, Warwickshire. Cash on collection preferred.

The Stainless steel wheels nuts are not included in the sale of these wheels, but they could be.... (they really set the wheels off nice!) There is 16 of them and 4 or maybe 5 Locking wheels nuts that match.

The Tyres cost me £400, the wheels cost me £160, Shot blasting £60, Powder coating £100 and 3days pollishing them plus £40 to fit the tyres, so I think I'm being realistic in the price, after all they are now unique!

These will fit, Range Rover Classics, Discovery 1 and 2, Defenders and 90/110's

Any Questions, Just Ask. Thanks for looking
