Set of 3 1950s Airfix Header Cards - Set 2 - Railways 

From the very first kits until the mid-1970s, Airfix were famous for their "plastic bag" packaging. The Header Cards that were stapled to the top of the bags are now highly collectable.

These Header Cards are "Type 1" (identified by the red square or base) and are from the kits listed below. The Type 1 Header Card was used by Airfix up to 1963

  • kit 4014 - HO/OO Footbridge. Card is in reasonable condition only - has small tear around hanging hole, and has the two advertisements cut from the back sheet
  • kit 4022 - HO/OO Level Crossing. Card would be classified as very good condition except for a band of cellotape along the bottom front edge
  • kit 4005 - HO/OO Signal Box. Card is in very good condition, no marks or damage

Buyers please note that these items are collectable Header Cards. There are not the kits.
