This is a sentimental pouch, probably for stockings originally, that I think was never used, as the vintage condition is excellent.

The pouch is entirely made of cornflower blue satin. It is a a rectangle shape, padded inside and with blue piping cord all around, leading to a centre front blue bow.

The pouch is formed by folding the rectangle in half and fastening a loop in the piping to a beautiful satin bound little button.

On the front of the pouch there is a painting of roses and a butterfly - very chocolate box! The painting is signed P Galamp or similar. I think that the painting is done on a screen printed background.

If your bedroom has a romantic style, or you are looking for a Cath Kidson type gift, then this is the ideal genuine vintage luxury item!

I would imagine that it dates to the 40's.

The size is approx 8"  x  7" wide when folded as a pouch.
