This special Sennheiser jack adapter has an black all-metal body and gold plated contacts.

The body is especially constructed to that the 3.5mm jack plug for certain Sennheiser headphone leads fits inside the barrel securely, and helps make prevent the 3.5mm jack from coming loose or getting bent while in operation.
