Selmer Balanced Action Tenor Saxophone c. 1937

The Serial Number is 26996

I have owned this horn since 1997, played infrequently since 2003. Pads in fine condition.

The horn has been relaquered, probably more than once but not for at least 30 years. It has obviously been hand polished and relaquered with skill, thus not affecting the tone or the quality of the engraving.
The saxophone comes with its original case & even the original wooden plug.

This really is an amazing saxophone - I'll be very sad to see it go but also pleased that someone will play in more than me. It really is like going back in time, opening up the case & seeing it in there.

I'm listing this item as local pick up only to reduce the amount of international enquiries I receive. I am however willing to look into courier costs if people want to enquire on an individual basis with their post code.

No time wasters please, anyone who has a clue will know how much this horn is worth.
