Seguso Murano/Sommerso Organic Glass Vase - Flavio Poli

Description
Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Attributed to Seguso Vetri d'Arte, and probably designed by the renowned Italian designer Flavio Poli. In a stunning combination of deep amber glass cased in paler amber glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian Sommerso technique. A fabulous item, in a wonderful organic shape, it catches the light beautifully. Would make an excellent display piece.

Size
Measures approx 7.5 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition
Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a couple of very faint surface scratches, hardly noticable, and a couple of minor manufacturing faults, again hardly noticable, and only mentioned for accuracy of description.
