Greetings!  You are bidding on a BRAND NEW Schilke 51 gold plate large shank trombone mouthpiece.  It has never been played and is still in its original box.  This mouthpiece is one of the standard trombone mouthpieces and will benefit everyone from student to professional alike.  It has a large bowl shaped cup producing a rich tone quality, and is ideally suited for large bore tenor and orchestral performers.  This mouthpiece is an excellent upgrade from a Bach 6 1/2AL or 5G and was originally designed as the Artist Custom model for Ralph Sauer, reitred principal trombonist of the Los Angeles Philharmonic.  This mouthpiece currently sells at the nation's largest online retailer for $72.99 plus shipping.
