Of Sale
All purchases
made from SatandCable’s eBay are subject to the following Terms
Of Sale.
SatandCable
will accept the return of any merchandise purchased from us without
any qualms, unless one of the following conditions is applicable and
specifies otherwise. If your item(s) is eligible to be returned, under
the terms outlined below, then you will need to follow our Returns
Procedure to initiate your item’s return. When you make
your purchase, you are thereby confirming that you both understand and
agree to the following reasonable terms:
Faulty
Items
1)
For any items that are received by the buyer in a faulty state, it will
be entirely the buyer’s choice of the following two resolutions:
a) Payment for the faulty
item(s) refunded in full upon our receipt of the returned faulty item(s).
The original postage cost will also be fully refundable if every item
in the order is faulty and returned (this therefore includes all single
item purchases); but non-refundable for multiple-item orders where at
least one item is retained by the buyer.
or
b) Item(s) repaired (if
possible) and returned to the buyer in a 100% fully working state, or,
if repair is either impractical or not possible, replaced with a brand
new replacement.
2)
For any items that become faulty:
a)
Any items bought from SatandCable that develop a fault will be either
repaired or replaced if the fault develops within a time scale that
SatandCable deem to be reasonable.
This will depend on the nature of the product in question (i.e. time
scales will tend to be shorter for cheaper, expendable items which,
by their nature, are originally intended as replacement components,
and longer for more expensive whole items). We will always be reasonable
and fair in our service and evaluations.
Non-Faulty
Items
Any items purchased
in error (for any reason), where the buyer requests a refund, will be
refunded in accordance with the following term:
1) The refund
will be issued minus the initial postage cost, and then minus 20%.
So the refund amount will be 80% of the product price.
The 20% deduction compensates for both our time, and the fact that items
can no longer be considered new after they have endured two postal journeys
(we do not re-sell second-hand items as new); and hence the product’s
value has depreciated. This applies even when the product’s packaging
has not been opened. Also, the initial postage cost is non-refundable.
Items
Damaged in Transit
1)
For parcels requiring a delivery signature:
Any parcel requiring a signature for delivery that arrives having been
damaged in transit should preferably be refused by the customer (i.e.
not signed for). You are reasonably expected to inspect your parcel
for obvious signs of damage before you sign for it.
a) If the parcel’s
damage is excessive and obvious, and you:
(i) Provide a signature for its
delivery, then you will not be eligible to obtain any refund.
(ii) Refuse delivery, then we
will dispatch a new replacement upon our receipt of the returned damaged
parcel (our courier will be responsible for the return, not you).
b) If the parcel does
not appear to be damaged (i.e. the packaging needs to be opened to reveal
any damage) and you provide a signature for its delivery, but the product(s)
inside are damaged, then we will replace the damaged item(s) upon our
receipt of their return.
2)
For items received damaged that do not require a delivery signature:
We will replace the damaged item(s) upon our receipt of their return.
All
Items
The following conditions
apply to all items:
1) All packaging
must be present and in immaculate condition.
2) If the product
in question includes more than one component or part, then every item
must be returned that was originally included in the product sale.
3) Every item
returned to SatandCable for any reason should be sent by recorded “signed
for” delivery, and the tracking number must be retained by the
buyer. Failure to do so will mean that both the buyer and SatandCable
will be unable to verify its delivery, which counts as the same as our
non-receipt of the returned product(s).
4) SatandCable
will maintain strict and accurate records of its sales. If there is
any doubt, we will always be able to ascertain whether an item was purchased
from SatandCable. It is up to the buyer to maintain their records to
prove that purchased item(s) were purchased from SatandCable.
5) SatandCable
will never, under any circumstances whatsoever, pay the postage for
any item to be sent back to us.
6) SatandCable
will always pay the postage costs to return repaired or replacement
items to its buyers.
7) Any items
that have been modified in any way from the state in which they were
originally sold (for example, software upgrades) will not be eligible
for any return, refund or replacement – there are no circumstances
whatsoever where a modified product will be considered for return. |
