This is an OUTSTANDING piece of ethnographic spiritual art imported from the Yoruba tribe of Nigeria. It is a very special babalawo crown which has been made using hundreds of glass African trade beads sewn atop a sturdy muslin base. There are 13 three-dimensional birds surrounding the crown, a powerful symbol of "ashe'", along with 2 masks. This crown was made in green and black, colors of Ogun, and measures 19" in height by approximately 9" in diameter. The beads hanging at the base separate the spiritual from the temporal worlds and hang approximately 10".This very special relic can be used on an altar or appreciated as the magnifiecnt spiritual artifact it has been created to be.
