POSTAGE:

We guarantee to post orders the same day we receive them, when cleared funds are received into our PayPal account before 2pm.

As Ebay themselves state, we are not responsible for the postal system. To minimise the risk of loss or damage of your order while in the postal system we recommend using a secure postal service, especially for high value orders, such as Royal Mail's Special Delivery service or a Courier such as UPS.

REMEMBER that Recorded Delivery and Special Delivery require a signature upon delivery.

Ebay does not allow us to determine the value of your order at the time of checkout, therefore if you order several low cost items which result in an overall high cost order (e.g. £100+), we recommend you upgrade the postal service to Special Delivery or Courier. The Royal Mail only provide compensation upto £39 on Standard and Recorded Delivery services.

Allmemorycards reserve the right to change the method of postage up to the point of despatch. Such an occurrence may be necessary when the customer’s chosen delivery service is simply not appropriate for the order (size or value). A signature will therefore be required in these cases, see below.

SIGNED FOR DELIVERIES:

For Recorded and Special Deliveries The Royal Mail should leave a "while you were out card" if no one is available to accept and sign for your order. It then becomes the customer's responsibility to collect the item from their local sorting office. Royal Mail's policy is to return uncollected items to the sender after one week. If we receive your order back because it was not collected by you (the customer) allmemorycards cannot be held responsible for the cost of re-delivery.


LOST ITEMS:

If an item is lost in the post it should be noted that The Royal Mail will not recognise the loss until 15 working days have passed. After 15 working days have passed we will submit a compensation claim with The Royal Mail, who in turn will send you (the customer) a form to sign which confirms the item was indeed not delivered. 

PLEASE NOTE it is the customer's responsibility to return the form back to The Royal Mail. Only then can compensation by granted. We no longer refund for lost items before receiving compensation due to customers not signing and returning the declaration.

If in an exceptional circumstance we do refund a customer for a lost-in-post item before obtaining compensation from the Royal Mail, and then that customer does not co-operate by signing the non-delivery declaration sent to them by the Royal Mail, we will assume the customer has the item. We will then instruct a debt collection agency to recover our loss from the customer.

PLEASE NOTE that Standard and Recorded Delivery services only provide compensation for loss or damager £39. If your order is more than this you should choose SPECIAL DELIVERY or COURIER (which-ever is available on the listing at the time) as this will cover the full cost.

To organise a Product Return contact us via Ebay stating the item or items you wish to return, with their part numbers, why you wish to return them (e.g. ordered in error, too many ordered) and the condition of the items (e.g. unused, opened etc). Please also supply the original invoice number, confirmation of your details such as address and telephone number and any other comments you wish.

If you have purchased an item and would like to return it even though there is nothing wrong with it, or have not signed for the delivery and not collected it from your local the sorting office, a 25% restocking fee will be applied. You will then be supplied with a Returns Number, please quote this when posting the item(s) back to us. (We cannot be held responsible for product not delivered by Royal Mail for whatever reason).

YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL: The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 allow for a cooling off period which allows you the right to cancel your order, within seven (7) working days, beginning on the day after the day on which you receive the goods. Should you wish to exercise this right, first of all we require you to inform us of your intention to return the goods. Dispatch them back by recorded post to ensure their safe delivery. All return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer. All goods returned to us should be unopened and in a resalable condition.

Were you have exercised your right to cancel and we have received the goods back unopened and resalable, we will refund your money within 30 days.

We reserve the right not to offer a returns policy in relation to software and recordable media, if the seals have been broken.
