San Diego Comic-Con 1997: Programme book. This is a squarebound magazine with card covers/paperback, 144 pages, bw. After brief biographical sketches of that years guests,
obituaries, Eisner awards etc, there are two short essays on Star Wars to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the first film (I found the one on Star Wars and religion
interesting), and then about 48 pages of artwork in which the artists comment, mostly one page each, on what Star Wars meant or did not mean to them. Follows an article on Al
Feldstein, and artists interpreting Horror comics in 20 or so pages of artwork. Follows a shorter chapter on independent film same format, and a chapter celebrating the 100th
anniversary of Bram Stoker's Dracula, again with essay and pages of artwork. This is an interesting read, and visually great. The copy is in nice condition, not much wear at
all, but a one-inch dogear crease bottom right (see scan).
