General Information About Sticks & Stones and our Products
How To Recognise Quality Tiles
Many, many products sold by our competitors both online and in national stores, use a non-moving pattern in their manufacture. This means that every tile looks
exactly the same. It is obviously not possible to tell this from a single sample and can be difficult to spot on photographs. It will, however, be very obvious when the product is installed in your kitchen or your bathroom and as eat breakfast or have a bath you notice that the tiles which you thought were 'natural' looking are actually mass-stamped with
EVERY TILE LOOKING THE SAME
Most of the products we stock use a
random pattern
to create a more
natural look. This can be achieved in a variety of different ways including one dimensional or two dimensional roller prints or double-loading which gives a 100% random pattern. These advanced processes require more skills & knowledge to develop and more advanced, expensive machinary to produce but result in a signficantly more attractive and natural look. Don't accept the poor design of lower quality products - if in doubt please ask us for more information.

How to Order and Other FAQ
Why are the prices so low?
As one of the largest importers of tiles, wood and stone in the UK, when buying from us you are cutting out the middle man and taking advantage of our large buying power. This allows us to offer wholesale prices to the end customer.
Is there a compromise on quality or design?
Absolutely not. We regularly visit factories and trade fairs in Europe and Asia to monitor quality and select the best designs. Our tiles generally retail in other showrooms at double or triple the price we are selling them at on eBay. Order a sample now and you will be able to see the quality for yourself.
How do I select which product is right for me?
You can browse by category from the menu at the top left of the page or use the "shop search" to look for products with specific criteria e.g. stone, marble, porcelain, grey. When you have chosen products of interest we encourage you to order a sample. If you have any specific product questions, please email or telephone us.
Can I order samples?
Yes. To order a sample of a product, click on the "order free sample" button at the top or bottom of the item description. This will search for the sample which matches the product you are currently looking at. Select this and then "buy it now". Please note eBay does not allow items to be listed for free so we have to charge a nominal penny. Postage on up to 3 samples is £4.99. We will send you large samples (generally full tiles but a minimum 30x30cm for large tiles)
How do I order the quantity I require?
Unless otherwise specified, auctions are for one square metre (m
2 ). At checkout you will be offered the opportunity to buy other products. Included in the list is the product you have just bought through eBay. When you select this, you are able to specify the additional quantity you require (to the nearest m
2
). This will be charged at the same price as the auction / eBay shop listing. You will also have the opportunity to purchase other related items during checkout and can also return to the eBay shop to add items from our full range to your order.
How do I check if you have enough stock?
We generally hold large stocks of all products sold on eBay but if you require a large quantity (more than 40m
2
), please email or ring so that we can confirm availability.
What methods of payment do you accept?
For your convenience and security, you can pay directly for your goods using major credit and debit cards at the end of the secure checkout process. Please note goods need to be delivered to the registered credit card address; if this creates an issue, please email or telephone us. We also accept a cheque or you can pay cash on collection)
How quickly will my order be delivered?
We normally ship within 24 hours of receiving the order. Depending on what shipping service you select, you can then receive your order next day. If it is important that you recieve your order before a specific day, please email or telephone us. We will make every effort to meet your deadline but cannot accept any liability for expenses incurred as a result of late delivery.
How much does delivery cost?
We charge for delivery at cost and do not charge for packing materials. You can calculate the cost of delivery by using the shipping calculator.
Can I collect?
You can collect from our warehouse Monday-Saturday. Please email or telephone us before travelling to confirm that you order is ready for collection.
