SHIRT MEASUREMENTS
1. WAIST: Measure it
across the front of the waistband
from side to side, then double it.
2. RISE: This is one of the most
important measurements. Measure from
the seam at the crotch, straight up,
to the top of the waist band.
3. HIPS: Where to measure the hips
can be tricky. A good spot is from
the bottom of the zipper, then
measure across the front and double
it.
4. THIGH: Measure across the front
of the leg from the crotch seam to
the other side and double it. 5.
INSEAM: Measure the inside leg seam
from the seam at the crotch, to the
hem of the jeans. 6. LEG OPENING:
Measure the bottom of the leg at hem
across the front and double it.
1. NECK: First you will need to
measure your neck size. Using a
cloth tape measure, measure the
largest part of your neck, where
your collar buttons. You may
want to add 1/2 inch to the
measurement for comfort or, if
you prefer a looser fit you
might add one inch to the
result. Another, easier, way to
get your neck size is to use a
shirt that fits you well as a
guide. Lay the collar flat and
measure from the center of the
button hole to the far end of
the button. This should be your
exact neck size 2. SLEEVE
LENGTH: For a long sleeve shirt,
you will need your sleeve
length. With your elbow bent,
measure across the middle of
your back - directly below neck,
across shoulders, around your
elbow to your wrist.
