What's the advantage of Lithium Ion?
Lithium Ion battery packs provide a much greater power to weight ratio than any other standard electric bike technology around at present.
You can expect somewhere between 400-500 discharge/charge cycles from the Lithium Ion battery pack. However, unlike NiMH or Lead Acid batteries the Li-Ion battery prefers a partial rather than a full discharge.
Please try and avoid full discharges if at all possible. In other words, when you get the bike back from a run, simply plug the bike into the charger until fully charged again.

Why ride an Electric Bike?
The SynergieTM range of Electric Motorcycles provides all the advantages of a regular bicycle: fun, exercise, free parking, zero emissions, and freedom from traffic jams, whilst eliminating one of the bicycle's more serious drawbacks, lack of power. What it also means, of course, is a much cheaper form of transport and a chance to arrive at work without sweating to death!
Imagine someone pushing you in the back whilst you're pedalling up a hill, that's what the e-bike experience is all about. Also, in most situations riding an electric bike will be faster and cheaper than either by car or public transport.
Fundamentally, an e-bike is just a regular bicycle with an electric motor to provide additional assistance. You can pedal normally and just use the motor to help out on hills and headwinds, or use the motor all the time just to make riding easier. The experience is entirely different from riding say a petrol scooter or motorbike. Here the electric assistance is perfectly smooth and silent and it complements rather than supplants human power.
If you think that hills, distance, health reasons, knee problems, aging, or even the inconvenience of having to shower and change at work make using normal bikes impossible then our SynergieTM bikes suddenly make biking a whole lot more accessible.

Are the bikes Road Legal?
All of the SynergieTM range of Electric Motorcycles are classified as bicycles and are road legal ready to go on UK roads with the advantage of:

What Warranty do I get?
The Mistral has a full 12 Months “Return to Base” Warranty.
Please note that during the warranty period, in the unlikely event that the item has to be returned you will be responsible for the cost of return to us. Following the repair we will, though, pay for the cost of shipment back to you. After the warranty period we offer an after sales service comprising supply of parts and if you are unable to fit these yourself, we are certain that anyone familiar with bicycles will be able to do it for you.
Please note that items not covered by warranty are tyres, chains, brakes, cables, plastics and general wear and tear as you would expect.
However, in addition, if for any reason you are not satisfied, you can return any item in its original condition within 7 days of the date of shipment for a refund or an exchange. It's that simple. (Please the section on Distance Selling Regulations below)
Once we receive your returned item and it is accepted, your refund or new item will be processed in just a few days. Upon receiving your return, the item will be reviewed by our Quality Assurance department. Please note that items showing signs of wear or those that have been altered or damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return.
If you are unable to accept these conditions, please do not bid.
Delivery
For all items paid for before noon on a working day (i.e. Mon – Fri) we will try to despatch the same day.
Normally, delivery may take up to two working days but this will depend on how close you are to a main distribution depot.

Distance Selling Regulations
We work in line with this requirement which provides you with the right to return the item to us up to the end of the 7th working day following the day after you received the item. We do not need a reason for cancellation but the item MUST not have been assembled or used and MUST be returned in “As New” condition and in its original packaging. You must notify us in writing that you wish to cancel but do not have to give a reason although this would be useful.
You will also be responsible for the costs of shipping the item back to us and we recommend that you use an insured service. However, once we have received and inspected the item, we will immediately return your original payment for the item itself but not the cost of shipping it to you. Please note that transportation is a separate contract and has nothing to do with the item purchase price. Indeed, you may collect the item free of charge or may organise your own courier.
In Transit Insurance
Your shipment charge covers both LOSS and DAMAGE but you MUST check the item when you receive it. If the outer packaging looks damaged then mark the courier’s form as “Damaged”. If you are unable to check it then sign it as “Unchecked”.
Any damage claim can only be accepted if reported within 24 hours of receipt and you will be unable to make any claim unless you have adhered to the above.
Please note that if you are not at home when the courier arrives he or she will “card” you and either they will re-deliver the item on an agreed day or you can pick it up. Please also note, however, that if you arrange a date/time and then are not in you may then be charged for a third delivery.
Feedback
This is, of course, very important for both of us and we do our best at all times to make all transactions as pleasant and painless for our customers as possible. However, we sell literally hundreds of items and things do occasionally go wrong.
