SUZUKI BANDIT N600 1999

Suzuki Bandit N600 ( 1999 ) .  Originally a grey import hence mileage being in KMH .  I bought it in mint condition with 20,000km on the clock the rest of the mileage and all the upgrades are down to me . The engine was replaced at about 72,000km as it was cheaper than getting the head rebuilt ( valves worn ) and the old engine is included in the sale as is the stock exhaust , double seat , various alternative link pipes ,stainless steel frame bolt kit ( never got around to fitting them ) and a box of spares ( plugs ,oil filter , stock air filter ect ).

  Good Points

Hagon rear shock. 

American progressive suspension front shock springs . ( if you know bandits you'll probably agree that the stock suspension is mush )

Stainless braided brake hoses

Polished wheel rims

Micron stainless down pipes

4 into 1 into 2 exhaust ( high level )

Dynojet stage one ( jetted for twin exhaust set up ) with K&N filter

Renthal handle bars with end wieghts

White face clocks reading mph & km for mileometer

Rearset spacers

single seat / belly pan / bikini faring

chrome chain guard / oil cooler grill

stainless frame inserts

Spare engine -- needs top end rebuild

Haynes manual / Owners manual / MOTS ect

Bad Bits

Slight weep off union between oil cooler & oil line ( needs seal/o ring replacing )

Single seat retaining bracket needs attention

Slight blowing from exhuast ( not holed ) at junction where down pipes meet twin pipes

Rear tyre squared off somewhat with 1 plug . Still road legal . ( front tyre excellent )

Couple of small areas of surface rust on frame

Idiot switches on side stand & clutch/starter interlock need replacing ( currently linked out)

The paint is bubbling up on one of the crankcase covers but it can be replaced with a good one from the spare engine.

Other Stuff  

To allow for the twin exhaust the centre stand has been removed but this is included in the sale. This bike ticks over with a very un600 like burble but is a bit loud when opened up . You may need a sympathetic mot centre or refit the stock system when you get it tested. Please don't hesitate to contact me   on  01702 715894 or email me with any questions .
