This beautiful treasured boxed set comprises of a solid silver handled shoe horn and button hook of excellent quality.

The hallmarks are slightly rubbed but I believe are for Birmingham and date to 1901. The shaft and hook of the button hook and the tongue of the shoe horn are made from steel and are stamped as such.

The exquisite silver handles have been beautifully chased and are inlaid with rich, colourful Scottish Agates - the workmanship is stunning and the photos really do not do this set justice.

There are no dents in the silver or damage of anykind the only slight point is a tiny degree of pitting on the tongue of the shoe horn (see photo) but I mention this purely for accuracy in description as it really does not detract from this special set.

Measuring 6 1/2" in lenght this set comes complete with its original box lined with a burgandy coloured velvet on the fitted base of the box and rushed satin on the inside of the lid.

A stunning addition to your button hook/ shoe horn or Scottish Agate collection.
