Up for sale we have this lovely clock of English manufacture by the very well known PERIVALE company and sold under the "BENTIMA" brand name, this clock will date to the 1950's. The clock will come with our own setting up leaflet.
Prior to being offered for sale the clock has been fully serviced and overhauled, all movement parts being cleaned in the proper horological fluids and rinsed in the proper horological rinse, re oiled correctly, to ensure its future performance. The movement is original to the clock, and in very good order, photos of the movement following servicing and prior to being refitted to the case are shown with the other photos in the listing.
A great clock, in super all round condition, the case being of veneered timber using oak and walnut veneers along with some inlay, having a good shine. In our opinion the clock is as near to perfect as a clock of this age can be.
The clock retains its original bezel and glass which are excellent, the original face is very good and clear to read.
So, a lovely and totally original clock of very good quality, by a very good English maker, just serviced and fully working, this will look great anywhere and should give years of faithful service.
Eight day duration, striking the number of hours on the hour and once on the half hour.

Just a quick note regarding postage costs, Postage at £10.00 is subsidised, parcelforce 48 normally starts from £14.99 ( This is the actual parcelforce rate) and we provide free of charge both our time and the proper packing materials to help your clock reach you in the condition it leaves us, and we do not make anything on this charge, in fact it costs us money.
We are proud to offer this service at such a reasonable price, but time and again we seem to be being marked down on postage charges on the detailed seller rating, so just wanted to put our case here.
Now the blurb..... All clocks are packaged very well, and sent by ParcelForce with insurance. All items are listed as acurately as possible, and condition statements take into account the age of the item and the relevant condition expected of an item of such age. Please bear in mind all our clocks are antique or vintage and so will have signs of age, such signs are part of what makes an antique unique, if you desire a new clock then please go to Argos or the local jewellers. If you are genuinely unhappy with your purchase you may return it, contact us upon receipt of the item to arrange returns.
All clocks are serviced and in full working order, and should you have any problems we will offer advice on setting up your clock, all clocks come with our own setting up leaflet, if in the unlikely event your clock does not work upon arrival following being in the postal system, you can return it for repair, though postage costs will be at your expense any remedial work will be carried out free of charge. Be sure to ask for our help and advice first though as with the correct setting up procedures being followed most problems can be overcome.
