This is for a superb old Victorian silver castle-top tape measure from the early 1800s. It is a beautiful and very delicate little piece and it is in absolute excellent condition. The sides of it are decorated all the way round with the facade of an old castle, i am not sure which one it is, but it will be based on an English castle. The green tape pulls out from the side, it is measured in inches and measures up to 36 inches long. There are no marks on it anywhere so we must presume it is some form of continental silver or similar. It is in absolute excellent condition with no dings, dents, splits or repairs...it is exactly as you would want to find it. It measures 16mm in diameter and is roughly 35mm tall. Please check out all the other sewing accessories, smoking and writing implements, art deco and art nouveau items and all the other vintage ladies and gentlemans accessories I am selling on ebay this week. I will always combine shipping to make it cheap to buy a lot.
