Fabulous French Upholstered Double Bed

Description

A later French upholstered double bed in the style of Louis  XVI with a corbeille ended footboard. 

A good quality upholstered French bed with carved flower adorned decoration to the headboard.  The fluted frame of the bed is made from beech which is in a very good condition throughout.  The bed stands on tapered fluted legs, two legs to the headboard and four to the footboard with flower decoration above each leg.  The bed is very sturdy when assembled and retains the original long fixing bolts, one to each corner, making it easy to assemble.

There are no rips or tears to the uphostery but there are a few minor marks, and more noticeably there is a lighter area to the lower centre of the headboard which I believe to be  the previous material used.

  This French bed will accomodate a standard double mattress.

Height of headboard 4ft 2"(127cm); width of headboard 4ft 10 1/2" (149cm); distance to the inside edge of side rails 4ft 8" (142cm);   distance between head and footboard (taken from center of footboard) 6ft 5 1/2" (197cm).

Delivery

Next planned delivery to the UK is scheduled for the first week in June.

I deliver personally to London and Southern regions at a charge of £60.00.  For the South West, East Anglia, the Midlands and South East Wales the charge is £70.00. This includes assembling the bed.

Low delivery rates for the Charente and Charente Maritime departments.  For other European countries you will need to arrange your own delivery/collection.
