We undertake to offer a full refund in cases of substantial misrepresentation or damage in transit. Claims of damage must be supported by photographic evidence.
Misrepresentation would qualify as a bed size being signficantly different or an item described as working which isn't, or a significant difference of a claimed period. Measurements are close but approximate, usually allowing for the need to fit an item in an alcove etc. Buyers need to make contact within 24 hours of receiving goods. In some cases we may endeavour to reach a mutual agreement for the buyer to pay postage outbound and inbound, this usually only reached in unclear cases of breakage or misrepresentation. Please note all our goods are antique and though every care is taken to describe major faults, the buyer should expect minor flaws, occassional old polished over scratches and surface wear usual to antique furniture.
IMPORTANT: PLEASE CHECK GOODS ON DELIVERY EVEN IF THE DRIVER HAS TO WAIT. IF YOU SIGN FOR AN ITEM IN GOOD CONDITION, AND IT IS DAMAGED, YOU WILL INVALIDATE THE INSURANCE AND NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN FOR DAMAGE IN THIS CASE. |
