CIRCA VERY EARLY 1900s
~
Retaining much of it's original red painted finish,
this heavyweight vintage bridle rack is as usable today
as it was in the early 1900's when it hung in the tack room
of a large Country House near to where I live.
~
Originally designed for a driving bridle with blinkers,
it has a hook underneath to hang the reins
and is clearly inscribed
"COTTAM & COMPANY, WINSLEY STREET LONDON"
~
In very good, clean and undamaged pre-used antique condition,
with tarnish and scuffs to the metal
entirely commensurate with genuine old age and use.

15"/49cm x 7"/18cm at widest and longest points
x 6"/15cm from the wall
