A WONDERFUL SUNDERLAND LUSTRE HOUSE PATTERN JUG
A rare and unusual Sunderland Lustre Jug, most likely produced around 1860 by Edward Whalley of Cobridge, Staffordshire. A wonderful clean example of early Lustre, hand painted house decoration to both sides, the jug is in wonderful undamaged condition with no chips, cracks, discoloration or restoration, it has been well looked after and must have been kept in a cabinet all its life. To be very accurate there is some slight signs of wear to the lustre on the rim. The purchaser will not be disappointed with this jug. The jug measures 8.25" (21cm) high and 6.75" (17cm) spout to handle.
I pack well using bubble wrap, poly chips, (impact resisting materials) and strong boxes.
