Who Are We?

The Internet Bike Shop (TIBS) first started trading in 2001 as a small internet seller with just two employees, selling off road quads and dirt bikes. In 2002 we added road legal vehicles to our range, and started to sell on eBay, on our own website, and from our own showroom. 
We soon became one of the largest scooter and motorcycle sellers on eBay and by concentrating on our customer's desire for excellent value and affordability we soon became one of the largest internet retailers of Chinese motorcycles and scooters in the UK.
After dealing with several suppliers over a 3 year period, TIBS negotiated the sole distributorship rights for Sukida and Skygo in the UK. Sukida had been in the UK themselves since 2002 and we felt they were the right kind of supplier to be associated with. Skygo are a subsidary of Lifan, one of the oldest and largest motorcycle manufacturers in China.
Today we now employ over 15 staff dedicated to our dealer network and with the use of a state of the art computer system we are able to keep track of all our sales of motorcycles and spare parts from the minute the scooter has been built and packaged in China to the second the scooter is handed over to a customer from any one of our dealer showrooms in the UK.

Why buy from us?

TlBS has built a solid foundation for itself with SUKIDA and SKYGO. We have an ever expanding network of authorised dealers. Their wealth of knowledge and experience in the motorcycle industry is second to none. 
All scooters and motorcycles purchased from TlBS come with 12 months parts warranty with an optional labour warranty, are fully tested, fully PDI'd (pre delivery inspected), DVLA registered with 12 months road tax and are supplied ready to ride. Beware of other sellers who will happily supply you with a crated vehicle and expect you to build it for road use
We feel that customers should come first and that they should not feel afraid or intimidated of this great Chinese invasion. Unfortunately, the market has been hindered by the internet and many rogue sellers who import bikes and sell them cheaply with no after care service or spares backup. This practice has tarnished the Chinese scooter market and left respectable distributors to pick up the pieces. 
However with our substantial dealer network now in place across the UK, consumers can confidently purchase a bike that not only looks good and is reliable, but is also affordable. By purchasing from a local dealer we can offer a better after care service that includes a full parts and technical back up.

What we sell

The Internet Bike Shop currently supplies Sukida and Skygo scooters from 50cc to 125cc, and motorcycles from 50cc to 250cc both for the beginner to the more advanced rider. We also distribute other quality brands such as Kinroad and Bashan. We also will be launching our new exciting off road range of bikes, Mighty Mini and Mighty Max for adults. 
Our current off road range of vehicles includes children's 50cc quads to adult 200cc quads, and children's 50cc Pit Bikes to adult 200cc motorcross bikes. 
We also carry the new TUZO range of clothing. This exciting range of clothing encompasses great designs, great prices and a great range of items from leathers to gloves, from jackets to pants.
Our new CBT page will be launching soon on eBay and our website. This will allow those that need it, to be able to find details of a local CBT centre that uses bikes supplied from us, if they then wish to purchase one they can go to their local TIBS dealer - training, scooters and motorcycles, clothing and accessories - a true one stop shop!

TlBS has built a solid foundation for itself with Sukida and Skygo in terms of authorised dealers, service and parts support and to reinforce quality at an affordable price. By buying locally a customer has the benefit of local knowledge and support. Imagine buying a vehicle from somewhere hundreds of miles away and needing a part or some advice? We have priced our vehicles carefully. 
Avoid buying 'cheap' elsewhere, the vehicle itself may appear to be cheaper, but once you add the cost of delivery, building the bike up safely by a qualified mechanic, DVLA registration, the number plate and fuel, does it really work out cheaper - NO!!! Add to this the fact that you may have to visit your local DVLA centre with an unregistered vehicle for a random inspection or queue up to get your vehicle registration, buying crated off another seller doesn't really make much sense!
Our parts department is probably one of the largest in th UK with over 20,000 various components available straight from the shelf, we are proud that we are able to provide parts for the scooters and motorcycles we sell in the UK. We are constantly striving to improve our systems and procedures here so that ordering parts is as easy as ordering a scooter or motorcycle.
