Take the hard work out of clearing floodwater, ponds and building site trenches with this durable dirty water pump.
Its powerful 250 watt motor pumps up to 5,000 litres of water per hour, and can handle particles up to 5mm (0.2") diameter.
How far beneath the surface will it operate? It can be submerged up to 6m under water (max pump head), and has approx. 10m of mains cable.
Supplied with an L-shape outlet attachment with an external diameter of 23mm. Suitable for connection to 25mm hose and circlip (not supplied).
How do I use it? Place the pump upright in the bottom of the water with the L-shaped connector attached and fitted with a hose. Ensure that no part of the mains plug (apart from the pump itself and the mains cord) is anywhere near the water.
When switched on, the pump will pull in water from the base and pump it out through the hose.
Does the water have to be clean? No, this pump will work quite happily with bits of dirt in the water up to 5mm (0.2") diameter.
Will it switch itself off when the water is gone? No. For that you will need to buy the next model up, which is fitted with a float switch. Please note, this pump does not have a float switch. Click here to view our full range of pumps.
