Discovered in a recent property refurbishment recently, this has to be the most stylish Art Deco clock I have seen !
The angular case measures 11.5"x 8.5"x 5.5" and has a pale walnut front panel set against a rich dark oak body. The design of the case is really impressive, with the hexagonal centre section appearing to float between the oak shoulders which are supported by chromed ball feet. The bezel is also chromed and this detail set against the pale walnut finish is classically Art Deco.
Not only does this clock look good, it is also running well, keeping excellent time and the 8 day movement strikes the hours and half hours on a gong. The clock has it's original pendulum and key.
Sure to sit comfortably in period surroundings or indeed, make a great conversation piece in a more minimalistic home, this is the opportunity to own a fine Art Deco object that is still as useful today, as when made approx. 80 years ago !
