A fabulous Art Deco figured walnut chest of three drawers, with the original stylised handles, and sitting on decorative panelled feet. Circa 1930. The chest of drawers is in very good condition, with the original golden patina, showing a good polish. There are some signs of wear on the finish in places as expected, with a few knocks and a noticeable mark on the top. The beading on the right hand side has some damage on the front corner, please see photographs. The chest of drawers is veneered in figured walnut, with a stained beechwood frame. The drawers are in good working order, although the middle drawer needs to be lifted very slightly to close. The drawer fronts are solid mahogany, with the figured walnut over the top. The drawer sides and backs are also made of mahogany and have dovetail construction. The 30's leather shabby chic armchair is listed separately. Measurements:
81cm wide x 80cm high x 44cm deep

I ONLY use furniture couriers due to the risk of furniture being damaged in the care of non-specialist couriers such as Target and Citylink.

Where appropriate, upholstery will be protected by plastic covers, and glass fronted and mirrored items will also be protected. I also make sure all vulnerable top surfaces are covered with card for transit, ie dining table tops and chest of drawers tops etc. Should you require additional packaging, furniture can be bubble-wrapped and protected with cardboard at additional cost.
To be fair to all bidders, this item is NOT for sale elsewhere. I pride myself on good communication skills and good customer service. Please take a look at my feedback featuring prompt despatch, honest descriptions and excellent packing. Payment must be made within four days, thanks. If collecting, please collect within 2 weeks as of end of sale. If the item has still not been collected after this time, we reserve the right to charge a storage fee of £2.50 per day or part day up to a maximum of 1 month's storage.
