This is a stunning shabby chic antique French totem coat and hat rack with toggle ended peg.







Measuring approx 22" tall x 4" wide x 7" from the wall this is a lovely large example of this type of hook.

Dating from the late 1800's it has had some woodworm damage but this is very old and does not detract from its charm or strength.

In a gorgeous Limousin grey finish this presents a striking and useful object.

The tall top hook was for high hats, the toggle for an overcoat and the two lower ones for scarves/cravats or canes.
