Showing a winter streetscene with snow, skiing, skating sledges, together with all the usual fun and mishaps.

This puzzle was sold to me as complete but after completing it there turned out to be FIVE PIECES MISSING (rats!!).

Before breaking up the puzzle, I separated out the ring of pieces immediately surrounding each of the missing pieces - to make it easy for anyone who wished to have replacement pieces made. [This service is available from specialist supplier on-line and they will usually ask to borrow the surrounding pieces in order to gain the best possible colour match for the missing pieces].

Apart from the missing pieces, the puzzle is in generally very good, used condition, with the box complete and undamaged - no more than one small cellotape mark on one end, plus all-round minor rubbing to the surfaces and edges.

NOTE, FOR THOSE WHO ENJOY A CHALLENGE:

I have done a number of the Jan van Haasteren 5000-piece puzzles and, in my opinion, with the snow and ice rather than the usual brighter colours, this is undoubtedly the most difficult of the lot.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR OVERSEAS BIDDERS: this puzzle weighs more than 2kg and thus is too heavy to send overseas in a single parcel by Royal Mail Airmail or Surface Mail. The only way to do it would be to separate out some of the pieces and to send the puzzle in two parcels. Sorry, but it's just the way the weight limits work. Please do not bid if unless you are willing to accept the high cost of postage overseas.
