This guitar is based on the famous Gibson ES175 Archtop series of guitars. These were introduced in the late 1940s in response to Jazz players who wanted an electrified instrument with a cutaway enabling easier access to the upper fingerboard. They have a mellow tone with bags of sustain due to the size and design of the body.
Weighing almost 4kg, the guitar oozes quality and is possibly the best built/finished semi-acoustic we supply. Whether you want to play some warm jazz licks using the neck pickup or a more edgy Steve Howe solo using the bridge, this is the guitar for you!
Dimensions are 103cm x 38cm x 11cm. The body itself is just under 8cm deep.

About Strativarius Guitars
Our guitars are made in Shanghai, China. The build quality, finishing and fittings are all surprisingly good. The necks are perfectly straight and the electrics fine. What the Chinese are not good at however is setting up the guitars – so we do it ourselves in our workshop. We check/set the intonation, truss rod and action as well as test the electrics and level the frets if (rarely) necessary. And as we say in the blurb, if you’re not 100% happy with it, just send it back, no strings (er…actually WITH the strings please!).
We leave our guitars unbranded so that you can add your own custom logo/decal. Try a google/ebay search for ‘headstock decals’.
We use recycled packaging materials wherever possible.
