silver sfl-261S flute is excellent value for money –
offering the flute player an instrument packed with features
usually found on far more expensive models. It is modelled
on the Yamaha YFL-574 – the benchmark for open hole
flutes. This instrument is, of course, brand new.
This is an open-hole designed flute that plays
in the key of C. It is equipped with offset-G keys and split-E
mechanism (for easier fingering) meaning the flute is perfect
for students as well as intermediate players. It is highly
responsive and plays with a solid tone, accurate intonation
and produces a crisp clear sound. This makes it especially
recommended for the student flutist.Silver-plated flutes give
a softer, fuller tone when played.
Also included are silicone plugs to convert the
flute back to a closed hole model. These plugs enable the
player to become used to playing an open hole flute by working
in stages and changing it as necessary.
