Starring: Wilfred Brambell and Harry H. Corbett.
Unite the remarkable talents of two true comedy actors and the genius of two of Britain's most brilliant scriptwriters and you have 'Steptoe and Son': that classic rag and bone comedy which delighted over 20 million television viewers each week. Enjoy here, three more hilarious episodes from those golden early days of 'Steptoe and Son'...
65 Today - Albert's got a face like a squeezed lemon because he thinks Harlod's gone and forgotten his birthday. As it happens, he would have been a lot happier with a night at the Skinners Arms and Z Cars on the box than the elaborate plans Harold has made for the evening...
The Lodger - In an attempt to see them through their economic slump, Albert's decided to take in a lodger. Harold's furious - what a personal insult to his abilities as a wage earner! What a filthy piece of capilalism! And he has to share a room with Albert!
The Bird - Harold's shaved twice this week which can only mean one thing - he's meeting a bird. It's bad enough that Albert has to spend one night in on his own but when Harold fixes up a second date with Roxanne, he can see a real threat to his routine of fish and chips and Perry Mason.
