This booklet consists of 108 pages detailing steep hills - their names, locations, gradient measurements and special features - some details mention length, road surface, bends, farm gates, crossroads, camber or even  quarry blasting - Fascinating! Excellent for a motoring or countryside enthusiast,

Published by the Automobile Association, Fanum House, Coventry Street, London W1. Dated 1939 on the rear page.

Paper covered booklet, 108 pages including cover, size approx 11cm x 18.5cm. Overall good condition, clean, contents good, corners good, staples spine tight. Minor age spots on cover.

An excellent item for the local historian, family history researcher and collector.
