After several recent problems with non-receipt of items that I've sent off, I have decided that I am no longer prepared to take any kind of responsibility for any losses or damage arising from the postal service. Royal Mail Recorded Delivery postage is available (this is signed for on receipt and insured if lost) If you don't want it, then sorry but I can't be held responsible. I ALWAYS OBTAIN A PROOF OF POSTING RECEIPT FROM THE POST OFFICE. Therefore I do prefer to send all goods by recorded delivery, as you can see the postage cost is low and all goods are sent in a jiffy bag. This has the following implications: all purchases are insured up to £28. In cases of non-receipt or damaged items, I will post you the receipt and you will be able to arrange a claim for the loss. If there is a problem with loss of a recorded or registered item, I will email the recorded/registered number, and this should be used for the claim. If you have the recorded delivery number then a receipt is not necessarily required unless the value exceeds £25. Therefore, by placing a bid, it means that you acknowledge the details of this additional term of sale. Any person ignoring this will be blocked from any further auctions and reported to Ebay. |
