STAG Minstrel Chest Of Drawers Dressing Table & Mirror

Description

Drop and Sell are pleased to present for auction a fabulous chest of drawers/dressing table & triptych mirror which we describe as follows:-

chest of 6 drawers from STAG and what we presume to be the MINSTREL range

4 small drawers across the top and 2 larger under

mahogany

gold coloured knobs on top drawers

drop ring handles on lower drawers

mahogany

we believe the triptych mirror is also by STAG but there is no label to confirm, our client confirmed that it was purchased at the same time as a set

it has a deeply moulded oval frame

the middle mirror tilts

smaller side mirrors fold in and out on brass hinges

Please note that all measurements are approximate.

Condition:

We would describe these items to be in very good overall condition. For completeness we note the following points:-

the drawers are all in very good, clean condition

2 of the drawer fronts have minor nicks on the top edge but we believe these could be easily covered with polish

the top is also in very good condition with a few minor nicks

the left side has a small chip in the plinth and on one of the legs

the mirror is intact with no chips, cracks or repairs

the tilting mechanism is functioning

the 2 smaller mirrors have signs of wear on the inside of the frame at the bottom of the oval - 1 is slightly worse than the other - please see photo

In general we would say that these imperfections are not significant and do not detract from the overall condition.
