We are pleased to offer a new relic holy card of St Philomena, Virgin and Martyr. Her feast is celebrated at her shrine at Mugnano in Italy and elsewhere on 11th August.

There is a third class cloth relic on the card which has touched a first class relic of the Saint.

It is interesting to note during the Year of Priests under the patronage of St Jean-Marie Vianney (the Cure d'Ars) that the Saint had constant recourse to the prayers and intercession of St Philomena and had a shrine of her erected in his parish church.

On the reverse of the card is a prayer in English in honour of St Philomena.
