Features
- Extremely small size and weight
- Wide frequency range, wide dynamic range and a highly sensitive built-in microphone
- As a recorder does not have any moving parts, it can be used in challenging environment: at wide temperature range, shaking, and dustiness
- Recorder voice activating system, VAS, allowing effective compressing pauses in messages, increases the length of a record while minimizing memory usage. Time intervals stay the same. If recording are copied to a PC, pause lengths can be restored or skipped according to program settings
- An internal clock and a calendar allow starting recording according to time setting
- To secure the data, a password may be set in the DVR, which prevents another user from unauthorized access to the DVR content and settings
- Every record made with the DVR is marked with the recording start time and date, and has a digital signature to define the DVR, which was used to make the record, and possible modification of the record file
- The DVR operation modes are indicated with the LED indicator
- The firmware can be upgraded using a USB interface

Table № 1. Recording capacity depends on compression algorithm and sample rate throught coefficient K
K is the coefficient, showing how many times the maximum
record time decreases at record mode change relative
to 2-bit ADPCM mode (maximum recording capacity). For example, the record time will be
17920/5=3584 minutes for model A31 300h (17920) in the without-compression
mode, at sample rate of 8 kHz (k=5).
