Seed and bean sprouts are highly nutritious, easy and quick to grow. You can sprout seeds all year round, and they make the perfect addition to salads, stir fries or sandwiches. Sprouts are packed full of vitamins, and minerals. (For the vitamin and mineral content of each variety you can check out our separate listings for each type).
You will recieve 10 packets of seeds for sprouting from among the following
Mung bean, Buckwheat, Sunflower, Fenugreek, Cress, Garlic Chive, Broccoli, Clover, Red Radish, Rocket, Lentil, Radish

Most seeds require the same general process to sprout. The required amount of seeds should be soaked in water overnight. The next day they can be spread out in a suitable container for sprouting such as the Geo 3 Tier sprouter, (also available through us at funkyflora). Keep at room temperature and in good light. Rinse the seeds twice daily until they are completely germinated (which occurs in 2 -10 days depending on the variety). Most can be used immediately or kept dry and refrigerated for 1 to 2 weeks. There are some that need to be grown differently and you should follow the individual sprouting instructions on each packet.
