SPORTS CARS - SUPERB POSTER BOOK - ST MICHAEL 1986

"Sports Cars", a superb large format "poster" book published exclusively for Marks & Spencer. 

There is a short introduction with text and illustrations of various types of sports car - "Early Sporting Cars", "American Models of the 1930s", "Sports Racing Cars", "Fastback Variety" etc - and then on to the individual marques:-

• Austin-Healey,
• Bentley,
• BMW,
• Bugatti,
• Chevrolet,
• Ferrari,
• Fiat,
• Ford,
• Jaguar,
• Lancia,
• Lotus,

• Triumph. 

Each marque has at least one page of descriptive text with full page, full colour line drawing illustrations on the opposite page.  Most of the illustrations show several cars (side and front views), some just a single car (three-quarters view), all excellent illustrations however.

Soft covers, approx 17x11" with 64 pages.

Some very slight wear to the covers but overall in near mint condition, very clean and tidy throughout.

An excellent book in its own right but if you could bear to break it up there are many superb pictures here which would look great framed.

Published by Newnes Group/Hamlyn for Marks and Spencer in this reprinted edition in 1986.
