THIS RATHER SPLENDID WALL MIRROR DATES FROM THE 1920s AND IS IN THE SHAPE OF A BUTTERFLY . THE MIRROR IS IN VERY NICE CONDITION THE GLASS IS NOT CHIPPED OR DAMAGED BUT ON THE BOTTOM WING IN THE LEFT HAND CORNER THE SILVERING HAS GONE JUST A LITTLE ON THE BOTTOM EDGE [but nothing very detrimental to the overall appearance of the mirror] . AROUND THE EDGES OF THE WINGS THERE IS A BLUE PATTERN THAT GIVES THE MIRROR JUST A LITTLE BIT OF COLOUR AND ALSO MAKES THE WINGS MORE ATTACTIVE AND LIFE LIKE. THE MIRROR MEASURES APPROXAMATLY 30 inches WIDE , BY 20 inches HIGH AND ON THE BACK OF IT IT STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL HANGING CHAIN .
