SPIRAL STAIRCASE KIT 40" DIA

Up for auction is a 40" dia x 8' tall  floor-to-floor Modular Spiral Staircase Kit. (US Patent #D398063) In order to accommodate customers for easier shipping & lower cost this staircase is unassembled & comes with only the wooden pieces reqd to build the staircase. Customer will have to provide screws, glue & the steel center rod.  The components need to be assembled into modular steps. As shown in the pictures the step modules can be assembled to turn in either direction. This unit has a step ht of 9.5", set-up for an 8' floor-to-floor ht, & offers 1/2 turn spiral. The wood is pine & can be stained or painted to match any room decor. The modular design allows for an easy set-up. Steps (once assembled) stack nicely over a 1.5" diameter center steel rod (not provided due to shipping issues). Steel center pole is readily available thru local welding or fabrication shops. Railing shown is available for this item but railings are dependent on installation & spiral direction so is not part  of the auction. If you want a railing they start at $100. Send email for more info on railing. However, a railing can be added to the staircase at any time after installation.& railing sketches are included in plans sent with kit. If you need a taller unit you can stack more steps (additional step components $40 ea) or remove steps to shorten the unit. each additional step will ad 9.5" to the overall ht of the staircase. For example, if you have a 105" floor-to-floor ht, it will req 1 addtional step.  114" will req 2 additional steps.
