This aluminium mounting / spacer plate is for raising the height of SME 3009 and 3012 tone arms on turntables with high platter heights such as Garrard 301 and 401.

It is machined from military spec aluminium to tight tolerances and finished to a very high standard and improves sound quality no end.

It offers advantages over the usual types because it can be fixed to wooden plinths with number 6 wood screws and the arm then mounted directly to it with supplied screws giving a much securer mounting. Spacer can also be doubled up if even more height is required.

We also manufacture Spacer plates for Rega and Linn arms on Garrard turntables, a blank mounting plate for the Thorens TD160 etc which can be drilled to suit any tone-arm, and a Thorens TD150 / SME3009 mounting plate, also TD160 etc mounting plates to suit Linn and Rega for info on these see our other items
