An attractive hand coloured map with much detail, including rivers, mountains and cities.

Some patchy browning as seen in the scans otherwise fine condition. Unfolded, blank verso. Dated and credited below lower border.

Approx. 11" x 9" (285mm x 235mm) map area only, with good margins beyond. Please scroll right down for further image.

William Darton Snr, and and his son William Jnr, were leading London publishers of quality maps from 1787 right up to the 1860's. The maps were accurate and detailed, based on the latest surveys and information.
